Cadbury Bournvita Contest Winners Fly with Krrish this Children's Day

40 lucky winners of the Fly with Krrish' Cadbury Bournvita contest accompanied their favourite superhero on an hour-long flight

Mumbai, November 14, 2013: On the occasion of Children's Day, 20 children accompanied with their mothers, who were the winners of the Cadbury Bournvita ‘Fly with Krrish' contest enjoyed an hour-long flight with superstar Hrithik Roshan, in Mumbai.

"This is one of the most enjoyable Children's Day celebrations I have had", said Hrithik Roshan. "This was a unique way of interacting with my fans, and we all had a great time. I have two young boys, so I know the importance of good habits. I'm happy for this opportunity to associate with Bournvita, which is a household brand across India."

During the flight, Hrithik spoke to the kids and their moms about the importance of good habits which can make every child a super-hero. He chatted with them about which super powers they would love to have. He also spoke to them about who their personal role models are and which of their habits they would like to emulate and shared with them the good habits he would want his kids to practice and how important it is to help people and do good for others.

The association with the super-hero film amplifies the spirit of Bournvita's philosophy "Tayyari Jeet Ki" (Preparing to Win). Inculcating good habits in children can bring out the super-hero in them and unleash their potential. Modern day mothers see Bournvita as a brand which partners the journey of their children by "helping children prepare" for life challenges ahead.

Asked about how the association between Bournvita and Krrish took shape, Manjari Upadhye, Vice President, Cocoa Beverages, Cadbury India said, "Krrish symbolizes strength and fitness, which he attributes to drinking Bournvita every day. We believe that there is a superhero in every child, who can be brought out by inculcating good habits and a healthy lifestyle from childhood. This initiative is our way of encouraging them to adopt healthy food habits."

Consumers who bought a jar of Bournvita with the "Krrish seal" between 16th October and 7th November could SMS the product code on the pack to a certain number. Over 8000 entries were collected during the contest, of which, 20 winners were selected to join Hrithik on the specially chartered flight, along with one parent.
